GFMaplewood, NJOctober 20, 2026A friend who lives nearby recommended Steak Frites as a great neighborhood option to try, and I am so glad I took their advice! I went for their special lunch prix fixe menu, which turned out to be fantastic value. I ordered the French onion soup to start, followed by the classic steak frites, and finished with the creme brulee. Everything was delicious, and the portions were so generous that I even got to take home some leftover fries for later. The absolute standout of the meal, though, had to be the creme bruleeit was out of this world and the perfect way to end lunch. Wonderful spot, and I'll definitely be back!
