Great Wine Bar

Jude, our server, was top tier in every regard -prompt, warm, knowledge of wine and food, attentive, and professional. We loved Wink's cozy-cool vibe, too. The food was the best we've had in Austin. Wink deserves a 10 out of 10!
MSFebruary 05, 2026Food was exquisite. Tasting menu, 5 small plates but each delicious. Servers and staff all incredibly professional and courteous. That said, cycling through the courses was painfully slow. Meal took forever. Still enjoyed it but devoured later plates because it took so long for them to arrive my appetite was ravenous. Otherworldly final "Wink Trio" dessert plate (and amazing paired dessert wine) was a resounding finish that knocked off much of the disappointment in the previous pacing. Still, for as much as this cost, it's hard to fathom how this meal could have taken so long.

Several unpredictable staffing issues came out of nowhere and certainly resulted in a slower than normal pace at the beginning of the night. However... our staff should have been better at communicating with you.
